The TCS is able to accept members subscriptions and other small payments for TCS items, other related UK club membership or other small toy train related purchases from UK suppliers using the PayPal service. While available to all members it is intended primarily for non-UK resident members for whom the cost of making small sterling payments is excessive compared to the value. The following conditions apply. 

1. Any payment made is on the understanding that the conditions below apply
2. The service is only available to TCS members
3. All payments must include at least one year's TCS subscription
4. In addition the member may specify one or more other club subscriptions, or payments to other UK suppliers, that he or she wishes to be made in sterling (= UK national currency) to that supplier. The total sum of such payments should not exceed £100.
5. For all payments other that to the TCS the member should supply a UK contact name and address to receive payment and a reference for that payment (such as the other club membership number or order reference). If more than one other payment is to be made the exact amount for each should be specified.
6. The total payment to be made to the TCS should be the sum of the membership subscription plus any other sterling payments plus a handling fee for this extra service of £2.00. 
7. The TCS will use its best endeavours to make any other payments specified to the contact, at the address, for the amount and quoting the references specified. The TCS will not be held responsible for any loss or damage suffered as a result of errors of information or of any dispute as to validity, quality, nature etc. of any other service for which payment is made in this way. 
8. The TCS reserves the right to suspend this service, in toto or with respect to specific other clubs, currencies, suppliers or members if it considers such action appropriate. 
9. The TCS reserves the right not to accept all or part of a payment, in which case it will attempt to make repayment back to the member using the PayPal system. If the TCS cannot make repayment under this system for any reason, it is not under obligation to make payment in any other way, but will hold any amounts as credit against future membership subscriptions.

To make a payment via PayPal please use the normal PayPal Send Money option using the e-mail address memsec@traincollectors.co.uk and include all the information required above in the body of the e-mail text, not as attachments, please.  (NB PayPal now allows you to specify a sterling payment amount, even if you are using US Dollars or Euros; it helps us if you can do this, and saves us on exchange costs.)
