The society covers a wide range of interests and knowledge in the diecast model and toy field - Dinky, Corgi, EFE, Matchbox, Lledo, Brooklin, Hornby, Tri-ang, Wrenn, Tinplate and games, just to name but a few! A vote is taken at the meeting, with points being awarded to the best displays. At the end of each membership year, the three members with the most points are awarded gift vouchers by the club. Speakers are occasionally invited to meetings and have covered subjects as diverse as Bayko, Corgi and full size Tramway systems.

Members receive a monthly two page newsletter giving details of the Society's activities and other events being held in the area. Members are invited to contribute relevant articles and letters. New members are always welcome.
