Allan Trotter is a Member of the Eastbank Model Railway Club. He has restored a Meccano commissioned Hornby Dublo two rail demonstration train set. The Hornby Dublo layout "Binns" was given to the club by a member's neighbour instead of being disposed of in a skip. The layout was in a neglected state and I personally restored the fabric of the layout and replaced the many missing accessories. We exhibit the layout as a club exhibit at model railway shows and also events that request the products of Meccano.
