Eurospoor 2013

The yearly event Eurospoor was held in Utrecht in October 2013. The Dutch HRCA- and TCS members was invited again to show the O-gauge and the Hornby Dublo 3-rail layout. Since our last exhibition, we renamed the layouts 'British Tinplate Toy Trains'. Although most of the items are of Hornby origin, more and more trains run on the layouts are from other manufacturers from the golden age of tinplate (as Bassett-Lowke and Leeds Model Company) up until modern day representatives like Ace Trains and Darstead.. "The largest model railway event in Europe. Model railways and everything concerning them. That's what EUROSPOOR is about. The most splendid model rail-ways in the world are exhibited. All together over sixty. A unique miniature world built in detail. Houses, cars, people and - of course trains."

The annual international Eurospoor model railway event will be staged on Friday 28 up to and including Sunday 30 October 2011 at the Jaarbeurs in Utrecht, and includes many an excellent model railway layout in a large variety of gauges as well as an extensive marketplace

The Dutch HRCA will return for this venue with an large 3-rail 0-Gauge layout “British Tinplate Toy Trains” and a 3-rail Dublo layout. TCS-members Rob van Teylingen, Peter Zwakhals and Hans van Dissel (in the weekend) will be present at the event.

The O-gauge layout will largely be build up with Hornby O-gauge, but items from Basset Lowke and Leeds Model Company will be used too. Modern tinplate will be represented by ACE Trains and Darstead.
