promote the exchange between n-scalers who are looking for replacements
for those lost, broken or just plain "wanted" parts--we n
scalers always have an odd part or shell, etc. that another modeller
needs. Please, no manufacturers or lengthy "for sale" lists
please. If a modeller has a group of items for sale, please post to the
group file area. As the moderator and/or e-Groups are not involved in any
transaction between members of the group, in the event that you have a
dispute with another member, you release e-Groups and moderator of this

The purpose of the Plasticville
mailing list is for the discussion of collecting, repairing and restoring
miniature plastic village items. Although the name of the list is
Plasticville, discussions of other manufacturer's items (Littletown, Marx,
K-line, Skyline, etc) are most welcome here. This list was started with
the hope of networking plastic village enthusiasts worldwide, and to
provide a venue for collectors to enhance their knowledge. Almost all
plastic village related posts are welcome here, e.g. collecting stories,
wish lists, unique items, questions and answers, repair tips, resources,
references, items for sale or trade, Internet links, etc. Although some
"topic drift" is to be expected, the main focus of the group
will be centered on miniature plastic items. Above all, everyone should
enjoy themselves and have FUN!! Personal attacks (flaming), profanity,
ethnic slurs, and spam type advertising will not be tolerated. The sender
of such messages will be warned once and, should the posts continue,
removed from the mailing list. |

A list devoted to the exchange of news
from ROCO. Post news about new ROCO product, special limited editions,
information and experiences you had with certain locos. Share with the
list your last DCC-decoder installation in an older, not DCC-ready loco,
maybe even with pictures posted to the file section of the list. Let the
list know how you use Roco's "Digital is cool" - or maybe other
DCC-system. Tell us about your layout (pictures would be nice!), etc.
Information about Roco's turntable and its use as well as
"hands-on" experience with the new ROCO digital cranes would
certainly be of interest to many modellers. |
